Routine Preventive Care

Preventative medicine means so much more than routine vaccinations. These days we don't just recommend a bunch of shots every year, but rather, we talk to you about what vaccinations are really necessary based on your pet's lifestyle and age. Some might need more annual vaccines than others. Some might only need a blood test to ensure that core deseases are still adequately prevented by previous vaccinations. Annual testing, such as heartworm and fecal parasite detection are a good idea in most all dogs, and heartworm preventatives and external parasite control for both dogs and cats need to be discussed each year.
