Our patients can’t tell us when they’re not feeling well, so it’s important that each pet have a comprehensive physical exam each year.
Your pet’s comprehensive exam will include a vital check and full nose-to-tail physical, where we will check their eyes, ears, skin, heart and lungs, teeth, and of course, anal glands.
Pets being seen by our hospital for an emergency will be triaged by our team of doctors and technicians, who will identify crisis and pain, check vitals, and stabilize your pet if needed.
If your pet requires treatment, they will be monitored and receive therapies in our hospital.
Our hospital provides comfortable areas for dogs and a quiet, separate wing for cats in our hospital, as well as a fully-equipped ICU for our more critical hospitalized patients. Additionally, our staff are trained to recognize medical emergencies, distress and discomfort, so your pet will be safe and comfortable during their stay.
Whether your pet is in our hospital for sick- or older-pet-boarding, post-surgical recovery care, or an emergency, you can trust that every effort is being made in pursuit of their comfort and well-being.
Oral health is one of the most important parts of pet health - and it unfortunately is also one of the most overlooked. The risks of poor dental care include periodontal disease, heart disease, kidney infection (pyelonephritis), and more — not to mention bad breath.
Luckily, even the worst tartar can be removed with a sedated cleaning at your veterinarian’s office.
Some ailments require additional diagnostics beyond a physical exam to understand. In some of those cases, use of digital x-ray imaging may be necessary for diagnosis.
X-ray radiography has advanced a great deal since the days of film and chemical developers. Today, we use a large state-of-the-art digital imaging unit to obtain images of bony structures and soft tissues within a matter of seconds.
Should your pet need diagnostics done to work up a medical issue they are having, your doctor will work with you and make a step-by-step diagnostic plan, to find what’s causing your pet discomfort.
Our in-hospital lab is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to help us reach diagnoses and begin treatment sooner.
Leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be stressful. We try to alleviate that stress while you’re away by keeping your pet happy and comfortable at our climate controlled indoor/outdoor boarding facility.
Our boarding kennel features a spacious play yard for dogs, a quiet, sun-filled room for cats, and a team of kennel technicians who are trained to recognize medical issues during your pet’s stay.
